We have so many western food like chicken chops, fish and chips or grilled lamb easily available at most of the food courts in Malaysia that it seems having western food as part of our weekly meal has become almost a norm to everyone. However, on Wednesday after moving in some stuff to my house in Ipoh Garden East, my sister recommend us to have lunch at the Beacon Point. Outside the shop, you will not realized that this humble shop will serve you western food that can match even the five star hotels. It seems to me that Beacon Point started out as a bakery, and till now, it still serves some of the best cakes and breads. I can see a lot of delicious cakes from where I sit.....and although the shop looks a bit shabby, it still have one of the best environment that one can wish for during lunch hour.
