[Wine Recipe] - Roselle Wine Recipe 24_11_2012

I was thinking to do something different for this blog during the weekend, and something pops up in my mind which is to post the wine recipe. There are so many wine recipe around that it will be too difficult to keep track and at the same time, I would love to blog about it, so that I can use the wine recipe that can provide me with the taste of the wine that I wanted in the future. Well, I can just treat it like another type of log book for this "experiment". Anyway, to make wine for home usage, it is not that tedious, just that you will need to have the correct recipe with the correct material, then voila, you can start making your own wine. Of course, for high volume production, it will be another story as it will involves a lot of machines and stuff like that. Roselle wine

XXL Crispy Fried Chicken at Shihlin Taiwan Street Snack, Aeon Seberang Perai

The other day, during the public holiday, I was walking around the Aeon Seberang Perai and found that majority food outlet in the shopping malls have menus that are usually meant for two person or more or family meal. I was having tough time finding food for my dinner - well, shopping around alone and dining alone is not easy. Anyway, after walking few rounds the mall, finally decided to get myself the XXL Crispy Fried Chicken at the Shihlin Taiwan Street Snack. It is not something luxurious, but if you asked me, the taste of the chicken worth mentioned here. Shihlin Taiwan Street Snack

Italian Cuisine at Limencello Pizza, Grill and Bar

My brother is the camera man, taking picture of us together before our dinner One of my most memorable food activity in Singapore is my dinner at the Limencello Pizza, Grill and Bar. From the name of it, one would have easily guess that this place is an Italian restaurants offering much more than just pizza,  as well as offers variety of liquors and wine. Not that we ordered any liquors, but the settings of the restaurant is just nice - right in front of the Robertson Bridge with the beautiful night river view - we manage to catch some of the pictures, but then again this is a food blog, so, I did not post the night river view around Robertson Quay. My turn to become the photographer, with most of our food together, behind is the Robertson Bridge Siblings - photographed taken by my brother's girlfriend. I like the settings of the restaurant, a lot. What I don't like really is just the service, which is not so superb - judging by the price tag...

Asian Delights at Toast Box

After the long walk and exploration at the Garden by the Bay, we decided that it would be nice to have our lunch somewhere nearby and well....as many of us can easily guess, the nearest popular landmark at Garden by the Bay is the Marina Bay Sands. Well, inside this mall, we have many choices of food outlet and restaurants from western food to Asian cuisines. Finally after a tiring walk of surveying around, we decided to have our lunch at a food outlet called the Toast Box, which has variety of Asian cuisines like the Bak Kut Teh or even the popular food around this region, nasi lemak. My brother and his girlfriend taking photo at Toast Box The shop has some of the European design, although it is selling mostly Asian cuisines. It's not really big, should be somewhere one small outlet size, with the kitchen in front, though I'm pretty confident that the hardcore cooking stuff will be done behind before the staff there take out the food to be served and displaye...

Breakfast at Tom and Toms Coffee at Tanjong Pagar, Singapore

I had my holiday in Singapore during the public holiday and throughout the last weekend with my siblings and the first day I reached Singapore, I parked my car in Tanjong Pagar area. Then my younger sister took us to one of the coffee joint, a bit similar to Starbucks or Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, but apparently this coffee joint is run by Koreans - which makes it a bit special than Starbucks and Coffee Bean. Not to mention, I never see this in Malaysia before, so, well, why not give it a try. So, we have our breakfast at Tom and Toms Coffee. Tom and Toms Coffee Overall, the environment is about the same like the usual coffee joint that we can see, the plus points for the Tom and Toms Coffee is that it is Wi-Fi zone. Yes, I know in Malaysia we have free Wi-Fi almost every Starbucks and Coffee Bean or even other smaller coffee joint, but in Singapore, it is not so easy to get free Wi-Fi.
